Jordan G. Zeitz
State of New Jersey vs. Derrick Miller
February 2023 – represented Mr. Miller who was indicted for murder and various handgun crimes. The jury found Mr. Miller NOT GUILTY on all charges.
State of New Jersey vs. James Peterson (a/k/a Elijah Williams)
February to March 2020 – represented Mr. Peterson (a/k/a Mr. Williams) who was indicted for murder (2 counts) and various handgun crimes. After several days of trial, Mr. Zeitz successfully negotiated a plea agreement where the State DISMISSED the murder (2 counts) and gun charges and recommended a “time served” sentence in return for his plea of guilty to an unrelated drug offense.
State of New Jersey vs. Gary Johnson
February to March 2019 – represented Mr. Johnson who was indicted for murder (2 counts), felony murder (2 counts), robbery (2 counts), and various handgun crimes. After several days of jury deliberations, Mr. Zeitz successfully negotiated a plea agreement where the State DISMISSED the murder charges (2 counts), the felony murder charges (2 counts), and the gun charges and recommended a concurrent 15 year prison sentence in return for his plea of guilty to 2 counts of aggravated manslaughter.
State of New Jersey vs. Jose Cortes
March 2017 – represented Mr. Cortes who was indicted for murder (2 counts), conspiracy to commit murder (2 counts), disturbing human remains (2 counts), being the leader of a narcotic trafficking network, and various handgun crimes. The jury found Mr. Cortes NOT GUILTY of murder (2 counts), disturbing human remains (2 counts), and possessing a handgun with the purpose to use unlawfully against another person.
State of New Jersey vs. Daishon Sease
January 2017 – represented Mr. Sease who was indicted for attempted murder, aggravated assault, handgun crimes, and other crimes. The jury found Mr. Sease NOT GUILTY on all charges.
State of New Jersey vs. Namil Owens
November 2016 – represented Mr. Owens who was indicted for murder, conspiracy to commit murder, handgun crimes, witness tampering, and hindering apprehension. The jury found Mr. Owens NOT GUILTY on all charges.
State of New Jersey vs. Shane Williams
September 2016 – represented Mr. Williams who was indicted for attempted murder, aggravated assault, handgun crimes, and other crimes. The jury found Mr. Williams NOT GUILTY on all charges.
State of New Jersey vs. Quameer Hence
June 2016 – represented Mr. Hence who was indicted for aggravated assault, aggravated sexual assault, kidnapping, robbery, and weapons related crimes. The jury found Mr. Hence NOT GUILTY of aggravated sexual assault, kidnapping, and the weapons related crimes.
State of New Jersey vs. Andrew Alford
August 2015 – represented Mr. Alford who was indicted for murder, felony murder, robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, and other lesser crimes. The jury found Mr. Alford NOT GUILTY of murder, felony murder, robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery.
State of New Jersey vs. Andre Creaig
July 2015 – represented Mr. Creaig who was indicted for murder, handgun crimes, and escape. The jury found Mr. Creaig NOT GUILTY of murder and the handgun crimes.
